Nancy Wratchford Obituary
Nancy Ruth Roark Wratchford, age 80 of Ocean Springs, Mississippi, formerly of Moorefield, WV, passed away April 26, 2022 at her residence. Born October 31, 1941, in Kansas City, Missouri she was the daughter of the late Helen Roark and granddaughter of the late Beulah and Bill Carter. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Wayne F. Wratchford in April 2005. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Steven R. Wratchford and Franklin W. Wratchford.
Surviving are two daughters, Vickie (Jerry) High of Purgitsville, WV and Christine (Todd) Hunt of Ocean Springs, MS; a son, David (Jaime) Wratchford of Cleveland, TN; six grandchildren, Beth High of Purgitsville, WV; Chris Pollan (Brooke) of Ocean Springs, MS; Echo Wratchford of Dothan, AL; Christopher Wratchford of Dothan, AL; Josh Wratchford of Cleveland, TN; and Katie (Dustin) Watkins of Ocoee, TN; Four great-grandchildren, Sydney Kimble of Purgitsville, WV; Rhys Pollan of Ocean Springs, MS, and Khloe and Kalila Wratchford of Dothan, AL.
Nancy loved to travel and was able travel extensively as an Air Force Wife. She loved playing BINGO, card games and two-stepping. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington Street with Pastor Lynn Rohrbaugh officiant. The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM until time of services. Private Interment will be at Walnut Grove Gardens. Due to the current COVID-19 recommendations, wearing of masks and social distancing by individuals unvaccinated is recommended.
