Nancy Patricia Wunder

Nancy Patricia Wunder was born January 18, 1930 and died on November 9, 2015. Pat died with her beloved family by her side at Maplewood in Darien, CT. She was born on January 18, 1930 in Baltimore, MD and was the oldest child of the late Duncan Lyle and Charlotte Stubbs. Pat was 85 years old and loved by all her family and friends. She met her husband, Bill, the late William E. Wunder in high school in Baltimore, MD. They were married in 1951 and enjoyed 54 years together with their children and grandchildren. Pat loved her family and their many times together, especially annual family vacations in Ocean City, MD. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Pat is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William and Debora Wunder Jr. of Noblesville, IN, her two daughters, Deborah Lewis of Jupiter, FL, Kathleen Wunder of Stamford, CT, and her son and partner, Donald Wunder and James Oliver of Ogunquit, ME. Pat also leaves six grandchildren, Kristin Barry (Steve), Kathleen Persavich (Nicholas), Scott Lewis, William Wunder III (Chauncey), Kaitlyn Wunder and Robert Wunder, and four great grandchildren, Jack, Evan, Noah and Katherine. Pat was predeceased by her two sisters, Barbara Burch and Carol Waddell. She also leaves behind her loving brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Ann Stubbs. The family will receive friends and relatives at Edward Lawrence Funeral Home, 2119 Post Road in Darien, CT on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 13, at 10:30 am, St. Thomas More, 374 Middlesex Road in Darien, CT. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Darien, CT.
