Nancy Young Obituary

Nancy peacefully entered the arms of her Savior on Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, Wyoming with her loving family at her bedside.
She was born Saturday, August 5, 1944 in Stambaugh, Michigan the daughter of John Gustaf and Bertha M. (Dove) Salmi. She and her loving husband, Jim, owned and operated the City Shoe and Saddle Shop in Douglas, Wyoming for many years.
Nancy is survived by her husband, James Robert "Jim" Young, of Douglas; children, Travis (Kasey) Young of Gillette, Wyoming, Trina Smith of Sheridan, Wyoming, and Nicholas (Melissa) Louckes of Jacksonville, Florida; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Judy Graham and Sandra Joluska.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to American Cancer Society in care of Converse County Bank, P.O. Box 689, Douglas, Wyoming 82633 would be appreciated by the family.
The Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel of Douglas, Wyoming is in charge of the arrangements.
