Nancy Zundel

Nancy Beryl Clayton Zundel, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home in Lindon, Utah, with her husband at her side, on August 29, 2025, at the age of 74.

Born in Santa Monica, California, on January 19, 1951, to the late Serge and Blanche Clayton, Nancy grew up in Southern California and developed a lifelong love for the beach. She was a proud graduate of Brigham Young University. Throughout her life, Nancy embraced adventure, living in a variety of places, including Vallejo, California; Seattle/Bremerton, Washington; Rota, Spain; Charlotte, North Carolina; and Andratx, Mallorca, Spain, before settling in Lindon, Utah.

Nancy was widely known for her kind heart and deep dedication to her family and her church. Her career included working for the United States Government and running a business with her husband. She was also actively involved in many civic projects. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many different callings. In her free time Nancy enjoyed traveling with Bill, as well as her passion for sewing, needlework, and crocheting. Her home was always meticulously clean, and she had an eye for the most current fashion.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her husband, Bill; her daughters, Allison (Jared) Grigg and Stephanie (Michael) Zundel-Smith; and her 12 grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Curtis (Barbara) Clayton, Mary Ann (Reed) Fisher, and Marsha (Byron) Orton, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her two daughters, Rachel and Jennifer, her parents and in-laws, Serge and Blanche Clayton and Glen and LeOra Zundel.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 731 E Center Street, Lindon, Utah. Condolence may be sent to the family at www.olpinmortuary.com.
