Nand Kishore Singhal

With deep sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved father, Nand Kishore Singhal, on February 8th, 2026 in Plainsboro, NJ. He will always live in our hearts through his love, kindness, and guidance. We appreciate your prayers and support during this difficult time

Nand grew up in Meerut, India as the eldest of eight children, then went on to Banaras Hindu University, where he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering, remained as a professor, and was later recruited by Tata Steel. In 1969, he married Manju and together, they raised two daughters, Nupur and Gunjan, then began a journey across India - from Jamshedpur to Bhiwani - before settling down in Delhi with German steel company Mannesmann Demag. That same year, they welcomed a son, Piyush. At the turn of the century, Nand and Manju started a new chapter in the US, managing hotels across the country.

Retired in New Jersey, Nand stayed active through tennis, squash, swimming, and long walks. He also shared a love for billiards, bridge, volunteering at the temple, and teaching yoga with his wife. Above all, Nand's greatest joy was being surrounded by family.

Nand Kishore Singhal is survived by his beloved wife, Manju; his daughter Nupur and her husband, Umesh Mittal; his daughter Gunjan and her husband, Hitesh Aggarwal; his son Piyush and his wife, Pooja Singhal; seven cherished grandchildren; and a large extended family.

Funeral services for Nand Kishore Singhal will take place Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 1-3pm at Asian Indian Funeral Service. Asian Indian Funeral Service is located at 75 Woodbridge Avenue in Highland Park, NJ.
Cremation is scheduled to immediately follow religious services. Cremation will take place at Franklin Memorial Park, 1800 Route 27 in North Brunswick, NJ.
