Mrs. Nanette R. "Nan" Long

I first met Nan when I was hired at a small car dealership in Indiana. We worked together for several months, and she became a very dear friend. I can remember we had a supervisor who was very persnickety, and she did not like it if you left the dealership to go on break. Well, there was small diner down the street that had the best pies. Nan would keep a lookout and I would climb out of the window where we worked and I would sneak down to the diner, grab slices of pie and sneak back in the window and we would have our dessert and laugh about sneaking out. That is a memory I will Alway cherish about Nan.
