Nanette M. MacKenzie, 77, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on June 3, 2025, in Easton, PA. Born on April 22, 1948, Nanette dedicated her life to her family, touching the lives of all who knew her with her loving, caring, and giving nature. Nanette cherished her faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of Emmanuel Assembly of God and the Ladies' Prayer group. Her love for Jesus and her family was evident in everything she said and did.
Before choosing to devote her time to her family, she worked as a baker and waitress at various restaurants in the Lehigh Valley. Her passion for baking and cooking, along with her enjoyment of listening to worship music and spending time with family, brought her such joy and peace. If you ever visited her home, you could guarantee that she would feed you a meal or dessert prepared with love.
Nanette is survived by her three daughters, Kelly Howard (Anthony), Kristie MacKenzie, and Karry Young (Chris)
Her sisters, Anita Mazziotta, Karen Montz, Deborah Washington, along with her cousins Linda Hunt and Bonnie Pletz
Her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Anthony (Kelsey), Jacob, Mikayla (Jonah), Gideon (Marissa), Nico (Jenny), Elias (Yadi), Sasha (Xavier), Daphney (Stefan), along with 18 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Donald D. MacKenzie, her parents Gordon & Lucille Moyer, and her brother Gordon Moyer Jr. (Ricky)
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th at 10:30 a.m. with a calling hour preceding the service from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at Emmanuel Assembly of God, 1431 Lehigh Parkway E., Allentown, PA 18103.
