We mourn the devastating loss of Naomi Michelle Harry, daughter of Michael Paul Harry II and Summer Nicole Harry, sister Natasha Harry, Born on November 4, 2005, in Lubbock, TX. Naomi was taken from this world in a fatal wreck by a drunk driver while heading home before 10 pm on a Wednesday night from the gym, and went on to be with the Lord.
She was a joyful, loving, and tender young woman with a full future ahead of her. Best friend and best role model to her younger sister, Natasha.
Naomi and her sister loved to have nightly dance parties, and movie nights. She and her sister shared a passion for dance which was cut short for Naomi due to the medical need for spinal fusion resulting from her Scoliosis.
She and her boyfriend, Blake Garza, who tragically lost his life alongside her, had planned to pursue a life together upon her completion of high school, set to commence May 4th, 2024.
She was a God-fearing soul who had a zest for life and God's people, truly blessed with a servant’s heart. She had a knack for making people feel deeply loved and cared for, while remaining her bouncy, full-of-life self. From the moment she was born we knew she was sent here to make this world a better place, thus her name, meaning pleasant/gentle; she was the full embodiment of those adjectives.
We will miss her every second of every day until the day we see her again in Heaven, in her new and perfect body, never to be touched again by the enemy of the world.
A funeral service for Naomi will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 5:00p.m. at Indiana Ave Baptist Church. The family requests, in honor of Naomi, please wear pink to her service.
