Naomi Jean Lloyd, 81, of Ward, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in her home on January 9, 2026, with her family beside her. She was born on August 16, 1944, in Briarwood, Oklahoma to Delbert and Cindy Scrimsher. Naomi was raised in the farming community in Slovak and Stuttgart, Arkansas. She loved the outdoors and could often be found gardening and tending her flowers. In her later years she spent her time with her constant companion, her little dog, Mikey.
Preceding her in death, both her parents, Delbert Scrimsher and Cindy Casinger Scrimsher; her beloved husband, Jimmy Lloyd; son, Charles Lloyd; granddaughter, Rachel J. Goines Bryant; sister, Jewel Church; brothers, Malvin Scrimsher, Albert Scrimsher and Calvin Scrimsher.
Left to cherish her memory, her daughter, Kathy Bryant and her husband Paul; grandson, Curtis Goines; sisters, Judy Brewer, Frances Church and her husband Marvin; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, January 13, 2026, with funeral services following at 2:00pm, at Boyd Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Boyd Funeral Home, Lonoke.
