Naomy (Kortenkamp) Gibbs
April 27, 1965 – October 17, 2025
Naomy (Kortenkamp) Gibbs, 60, of Worland, Wyoming, passed away on October 17th, 2025. Born on April 27, 1965, in Powell, Wyoming to LeVerna (Burns) James and James (Kortenkamp) Gordon. Naomy was the fifth of seven children in a loving, blended family. Known for her infectious humor and vibrant spirit, she brought joy and laughter to everyone around her.
Naomy married her beloved husband, Jack Gibbs, and together they shared a life filled with love and companionship. Though she was unable to have children of her own, Naomy's warmth and playful nature made her a cherished figure in the lives of her family and friends. She had a deep passion for orca whales, captivated by their grace and intelligence, and she loved sharing her enthusiasm for these majestic creatures with others.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Jack Gibbs; her brothers, David Baldwin and Joe (Kathy) Baldwin, Joe Kortenkamp; her sisters, Cindy Yasin, Kathi (Ric) George, Joanie Barnes, Tina Mixon, Heather (Brian) Cozzie and many nieces, nephews, and loved ones who will forever hold her memory dear.
Naomy was preceded in death by her Mother LeVerna (Burns) James, Father, James (Kortenkamp) Gordon, stepfather, Everett Baldwin, stepfather, Warren James and brother-in-law, Mike Barnes and nephew, Richard Scott Hansen, infant sister, Naomi Ruth Hendrickson, and infant brother, James Leroy Hendrickson.
Naomy's ability to light up a room with her humor and kindness will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Memorial donations may be made to assist with funeral costs. Please send checks to PO Box 524 Worland, Wyoming 82401. You may also donate online at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
