Narcisa "Clarissa" Campos Pagan of Athens, TN left to return to the Lord on October 31, 2025. She will continue living on, however, through her adoring family and friends. Clarissa was born in the Dominican Republic with humble beginnings, but as a star student who gave her all in everything she did, she earned a scholarship to study abroad in the United States and started her career to support her family both here and in the Dominican Republic. Clarissa demonstrated a selfless and kind love, always seeing the good. She could see beyond our flaws and encourage us to pursue and be the best versions of ourselves.
Throughout her lifetime, she devoted herself to her faith in Jesus and the people around her. She was an intelligent and motivated woman of God who remained a faithful servant and everyone she met became part of her family. She was loyal taking care of her mother these past few years while she struggled with fighting her own health battles, always putting others before herself.
Clarissa was a shining beacon of strength and willpower, always believing she would be healed, and that she would be able to keep supporting her family. She always fought for her faith and her truth. When she realized her time was coming, she decided to go where the Lord decided to lead her, even if she felt she still had work to be done. She had always been courageous and unrelenting in her fight against her waning health.
She will be forever remembered and sorely missed by all she leaves behind, including her mother Thelma Campos, her many brothers and sisters, her sons Kevin Campos, Alfredo Pagan, Raiden Pagan, and husband Oscar Pagan.
