Glenda Jo Starr Hall, age 89 of Brooksville, FL passed away, Thursday, November 13, 2025 at her Daughter's home.
A native and resident of Athens most of her life and was a daughter of the late George, Sr. and Willie Underdown Starr and was preceded in death by her husband, Warren E. Hall, 1 brother, Ray Starr and 4 sisters, Frances Monroe, Betty Wright, Agatha Ray and Wanda Patterson.
Glenda loved God, her family and all children. She spent most of her life taking care of her family and working with kindergarten children in Sweetwater and Athens, Tennessee. She also taught a 2nd grade Sunday School class at First Baptist Church of Athens.
She is survived by her 2 daughters and spouses, Kim Hall (Doug) Nunley, of Lenoir City; Lisa Hall (Chap) Kincaid of Brooksville, Fl; 3 grandchildren and spouses, Tiffany Stewart, Brandy and Trevin Parkinson, Christopher and Rachel Nunley.
Great-grandchildren, Khade and Zoey Parkinson, Molly Claire Stewart, Charley Stewart, Parker Nunley, Cooper Nunley, Tanner Nunley and one on the way.
1 brother, George Starr, Jr.; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Faye (Eddie) Morris and Kaye Kyker.
Special friend who was also like a sister to her, Joyce Davis.
Several nieces and nephews
Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Sweetwater Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bart Starr oficiating.
There will be no formal visitation.
