I met Nasser my freshman year at Virginia Tech in early 2001. He took me under his wings while I was pledging our Fraternity. We spent a fair bit of time together as he drove me around Blacksburg to his friend's houses and was an all around warm and kind friend to me. While we lost touch over the years, I will always look back on my time with him fondly.
My thoughts are with his family. Rest in peace Nasser!

Nasser and I became friends early in life when we were both in our early twenties. We were friends for many years.
We got to know each other well during a trip to Panama City Florida over Spring Break. We had common mutual cultural experiences traveling to the middle east: Nasser exchanged interesting and funny experiences he had with his family traveling to Jordan and I shared stories about my time in Turkey and Cyprus.
Nasser was eager for fun and excitement and was a gregarious person who liked being around people. He brought people together to enjoy life, for connections in his IT business endeavors, we had really fun memories together, and that's how I will remember Nasser.
RIP Nasser Zaki
Sincerely and with fondest memories,
