A Memorial Mass in loving memory of Natalia Vázquez Serrano will be held on Thursday October 23 at 10:00 am at San Juan Pablo II Catholic Church
Natalia Vázquez Serrano, born on July 27, 1949, in Durango, Mexico, entered into eternal rest on October 20, 2025, in Gainesville, Georgia. A devoted daughter of God, Natalia lived her life deeply rooted in prayer, love, and faith. She found her strength in the Holy Rosary, the Word of the Lord, and especially in her cherished prayer, La Magnífica. Her unwavering faith guided her every step, and she shared that light with all who had the blessing of knowing her.
A faithful parishioner of San Juan Pablo II Catholic Church, Natalia leaves behind a legacy of devotion and love through her children Anabel, Martha, and Ramiro, and her daughter-in-law Nelly. She is also survived by her grandchildren Erika, Anabel, Ana Carolina, Jesús, María Teresa, Araceli, Lizbeth, Itzel, and Valeria, and her great-grandchildren Leila, Lucas, Serena, Alessandra, Eliza, Everardo, Kaliyah and Carlo.
She now rejoins in Heaven those who went before her: her beloved father Alfonso Vázquez, her husband Ramiro García, and her siblings María de la Luz, Milio, and Manuel Vázquez, who welcomed her with open arms.
She will be forever remembered for her unshakable faith, her gentle strength, and the way she uplifted her family through prayer, compassion, and love. Natalia taught us to hold tightly to God even through life's storms. Though her voice and presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family forever.
May her soul, through the mercy of God, rest in eternal peace.
