Natasha Mae "Tasha" was born September 13, 1990, in Willmar, MN, the daughter of Jeff and Lisa (Chase) Adkins. Tasha was baptized at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Chokio and later confirmed her faith at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School with the Class of 2009. While in high school, Tasha participated in the Cardettes Dance Team, volleyball, track, and also FFA. She was very outgoing and made many friends. Following high school Tasha attended Ridgewater College for her LPN degree, Rasmussen College in St. Cloud for her RN and Mankato State, earning her BSN Degree which led her to her next position as the administrator of C.A.R.E. On July 7, 2012, Tasha was united in marriage to Matthew Fester at Calvary Lutheran Church in Willmar. Following their marriage, they lived in Atwater for nine years before moving to Grove City in 2019. This union was blessed with four children: Mason (12), Marshel (8), Maxton (5), and MaKinlee (3). In August of 2023, Tasha earned her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Degree from the University of North Dakota. Tasha began working at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital as a PMHNP November 2023. Tasha truly poured her heart and soul into caring for others and looked forward to going to work each day.
Tasha enjoyed spending time with her family and watching and supporting her boys in all sporting activities, and go-kart racing. She was their loudest cheerleader and gave the best hugs! Tasha had a kind heart and was always there when someone needed her. She loved demo derbies, stock car racing, and DIY projects, always having a Pinterest project going. She had a special bond with her dad, who nicknamed her "Harold." Some would say she had him wrapped around her finger!
Surviving is her husband, Matthew; their children: Mason, Marshel, Maxton and MaKinlee all of Grove City; parents, Jeff and Lisa Adkins of Atwater; her brother, Trenton (Jen) Adkins, Quinn and Leighton; father-in-law, Marion Fester of Belgrade; mother-in-law, Jori Berzins of Spring Park; sisters-in-law: Stacy (Nick) Danielson, Gavin, Loretta, and Bode; Abby (Andrew) Christensen, Aiden, Ashton, and Ayla. Also surviving are her grandparents: Rosey Ehrp; and James (Kathy) Adkins; and special friend, Ali Hood.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alfred and Lorraine Chase, Norm Hamner; and step-mother-in-law, Cindy Fester.

Like others, I was made aware of Natasha´s passing due to a `trend´. However, I´m forever grateful that I leaned into that trend. The video shown on her obituary page displayed so many images of her, her immediate family, her extended family, and her very close friends that I feel like I´m part of one of those groups. From what I´ve seen, it´s clear that Natasha was a loving mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. And a spiritual one as well. Her smile is incredibly contagious, and I imagine her personality was no different. My heartfelt prayers and condolences go out to her loving family and friends, as it´s evident that all of them are that and much more. I pray that Natasha´s passing is only trending for POSITIVE reasons; to show how much you can love and appreciate someone´s life without ever knowing them. Thank you for sharing those moments of her life with me and everyone else. I can´t express just how much it makes me appreciate the love I have in my life! May she rest in peace, and may God bless the attention this unfortunate circumstance has received in a great way!

Tasha, my thoughts are with you and your family. I did not know you, but once again your obituary just showed up on my phone. I live in California, and I believe I wanted to get in touch when I read you were a nurse practitioner. I, too, have been a nurse practitioner, and realize how much of yourself goes into being a good one! Your children are so young for you to have left this world. My condolences go out to your family for the emptiness that they must all be experiencing at this time. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

May your children never feel you away from their hearts. May your husband always feel your love on days when parenting gets tough, and may your family always be the biggest cheerleaders for you as your children grow. You were the best nurse and I will miss seeing you volunteering for the American Heart Association blood drive.
