Sandy Dodge and my cousin Joe Pollack were the major investor / partners in my first real estate investment. Sandy always had time to talk with me and always was a professional person.

Sandy and I met over 50 years ago, just once, upstairs in his office at 50th and Dodge. I was a high school senior applying to Harvard, his alma mater, and was offered the opportunity to interview with him. Frankly, I don't remember the details of the meeting. But I was accepted to Harvard and spent the next 20 years in the Harvard community, a great experience. I have recalled our meeting with gratitude over the years, and I'll always be grateful for whatever small part he may have played. My condolences to his family and close friends. I'll recommend him for admission to the Upper Story. May he rest in peace.

I met Sandy and Kate while I was in the Hospital in 1970, their son Nate was in my room I had Knee surgery, and Nate had a Broken arm? It was in October I believe, we made our room up for Halloween. They invited me and my wife over to their house for dinner. We talked about Life; Sandy had a house in the Dundee area (5022 Davenport) that he helped us acquire. While I was in college, we then moved to Wisconsin. When we moved back to Omaha my wife was a nurse and took care of Sandys father and mother at Clarkson Hospital (cancer clinic). The Dodge family will always have a spot in my heart for helping me in time of Need. Gone but not forgotten, even though we are apart, your Memories Lives within us, forever in our Hearts.

I am sorry to hear that Sandy passed. I worked for N P Dodge company 1963 until 1969. I worked in the office at 50th and Dodge Street. I worked next to Sandy office. He was a great person. I also knew his dad that worked there.

Omaha has lost a very good and truly high-quality man. Sandy was a class act in every way, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. I have so many memories of our old apartment council meetings together. Sandy truly was the best of the best.
My deepest respect and sincere condolences to the Dodge family and the entire NP Dodge Real Estate family.
With love and respect,
Tom Fellman, and my dearly departed partner, Howard Kooper
