Nathan Edwards Obituary

NATHAN DANIEL EDWARDS Nathan Daniel Edwards, 31, of Tom Bean, TX, passed away Thursday, July 3, 2025. He was born November 1, 1993, in Holton, KS, the son of Loren D. and Robyn K. (Starkebaum) Edwards. Nathan graduated from Jackson Heights High School in 2012. He was a dump truck driver for Hammett Excavation in Dodd City, TX, and was recently certified as an EMT. He was a Volunteer Firefighter for the City of Netawaka and Tom Bean, TX. His daughters were his "world" and he loved spending time with them, spending time outdoors and riding motorcycles. He married Belinda Focht on May 7, 2016, in Whiting, KS. Survivors include his wife, Belinda of the home; mother, Robyn Walden (Dave) of Lawrence, KS; father, Loren Edwards (Rebecca O'Lone) of Netawaka, KS; two daughters, Michaela Edwards and Raelyn Edwards of the home; brother Jonathan Edwards (Janessa) of Netawaka, KS, maternal-grandfather, Harold Starkebaum of Lawrence, KS and paternal-grandmother, Mary Edwards of Holton, KS. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Debra Davis, Patricia Starkebaum, and Tatha Oshel; paternal-grandfather, Melvin Edwards; maternal-great-grandparents, Arthur and Hellen Starkebaum and paternal-great-grandparents, Gerald and Dorothy Beightel. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial will follow at the Netawaka Cemetery.
