Nathan Wayne Hoggard, 52, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away February 28, 2024, at St. Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
He was born on April 27, 1971, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Ray Omer "Homer" Hoggard and Brenda Faye (Parks) Hoggard.
Nathan enjoyed farming and raising cattle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Hoggard and brother, Billy Ray Hoggard.
Nathan is survived by his mother, Brenda Hoggard and husband Jerry of Piggott, Arkansas; son, Austin Hartsfield of Piggott, Arkansas; brothers, Ricky Hoggard and wife Tracy and Steve McChristian and wife Jennifer both of Piggott, Arkansas; sisters, Kathy Hoggard of Piggott, Arkansas, Melissa Grooms of Piggott, Arkansas, and Bridgette Durborow of Saint Peters, Missouri; stepmother, Judy Hoggard of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Freedom Hobbs, Mike Edwards, Terry Bob Hoggard, Chad Faulk, Paul Davis, and Kevin Gurley. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
