Nathan L. Lipscomb, 69, of Morgantown, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2024 at Mon Health Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born April 6, 1954 in Cleveland OH.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife Sheila Lipscomb. He is survived by two daughters, Kristina Wilson and husband Jacob, and Lola Lipscomb. He is also survived by three sisters and one brother, Rebecca Barnett, Brenda Collins, Beverly Gillespie and Ray Lipscomb Jr, along with many nieces and nephews. And one special granddaughter Callie Wilson, who was his pride and joy.
Nathan was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He worked in the coal industry for over 20 years. He enjoyed woodworking, construction projects, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Morgantown Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses for 43 years. His faith and hope was found in his God Jehovah. Nathan loved people and never met a stranger. He would always be found volunteering to help someone in need.
Many thanks to the doctors and staff at Morgantown Healthcare Center, Mon Health Medical Center and Amedisys Hospice for their professional care. Also thanks to our family and friends for their continued love and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at JW.org. A memorial service will be held at the Morgantown Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 379 Smithtown Rd, on Saturday March 23, 2024 at 2pm.
