Nathan John McQuarrie

Nathan John McQuarrie, 47 years old, passed into God's hands in Prescott, Arizona on October 26th, 2025. Nathan was born on January 23rd, 1978, to Duncan and Ellen McQuarrie. Nate became an operating Engineer after completing an Apprenticeship program sponsored by the Union. He had been a member for many years of Local #428. Nate was known for his generosity and great(dry) sense of humor. His main hobby was shooting; He was a great Marksman. Nate was a good mechanic, and his first project (at 15 years old) was rebuilding and rehabilitating an old Farmall tractor which he then used for transportation and to earn money. Nate is survived by 2 children. Brayden Christofer Moore (14) of Yukon, Oklahoma and Braxton Lee McQuarrie (22) of Louisa, Virginia. He is also survived by his parents, Duncan and Ellen McQuarrie and siblings, Bobby Houston, Leah McGrath and Aaron McQuarrie. A memorial service will be held at Lowman's funeral home located at 717 West Dobbins Road, Phoenix, AZ 85041 at 10 AM on Monday, November 24th. A Reception will be held directly after the service at his boyhood home at 4747 West Sunrise Drive, Laveen, AZ 85339. Nathan will be missed by all that knew him well.
