Nathan O'Leary Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nelson Funeral Care - Cloquet on Jan. 3, 2025.
Nathan Ray O'Leary, age 43, of Cloquet, Minnesota passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024.
Nathan will be remembered by his fiancé, Nicole Adolfs; the children that he adored, Nicholas, Olivianna, Alex (Kolby), Jacob (Torrie); parents and step-parents, Marty (Michelle) O'Leary of Cloquet and Tamara (Dan) Belich of Esko; brother, Andrew (Jenny) O'Leary and their children, Evan, Ashton, Maxx, and Cruz; brother, Benjamin (Jesse) and their children, Nolan and Ella; step-siblings, Jason (Tia) O'Leary Belich and their family, Natalie (Eric) Belich, and Alex (Cari) Belich; maternal aunt, Terri (Dennis) Madzgas and her family; and numerous paternal aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; as well as his beloved four-legged companions, Cheyenne and Nora.
Nathan enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, hunting, and fishing, especially at their cabin on Lake Vermilion. He also loved spending time with his nieces and nephews and going wild ricing with his father. In recent years, Nathan and his brother, Ben, were able to fulfill their childhood dream in opening their own shop, Three O's Repair. Above all, Nathan lived his life for others and would never hesitate to put his needs on hold to help someone in need.
Services for Nathan will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2024 at Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. and continue until the 12:00 p.m. memorial service.
Memorials for his children can be sent to P.O. Box 12, Esko MN 55733.

My heart. A place where I hold everyone I love. Today it broke & I don't know if it will ever heal. Nathan was a person to be cherished. His smile , his impish grin. His whole face lit up.
He had such kind eyes. They reflected what a kind of soul he had & a big ole heart. I'm really sad I won't ever get that big hug & kiss on the cheek again. Nathan, Drew & Ben were tight , the way brothers should be. Nathan would protect , care for & keep an eye on them. Either way Nathan was there for his brothers & his mom Really anyone he loved. He was so proud of his kids. You could tell he adored them by the way he talked about them. He lit up every time ! I'm glad he passed through my soul & left such good behind. I will miss him.
