Nathan Lee Peek passed away February 2, 2025 in his home in Des Moines, Iowa. Nathan was born to Donald and Janietta Peek in Des Moines, Iowa on June 9, 1964.
Nathan graduated high school l at Saydel highschool. After that time he would spend a lot of his adult life in the service of the Iowa Army National Guard. Taking part in Operations in Germany, and Afghanistan. Outside of his service, Nathan was an avid disc golfer. He spent much of his time disc golfing with his many close friends. Nathan always wanted to be recognized as a "family," man. Proud of his 6 children, 19 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. The love and devotion to his family is grand and eternal. Nathan had no regrets, and lived a happy life.
Nathan was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother Janietta, his brothers and sisters, Donald Peek Jr. (Sam), Andrea Mitchell (Mike), Theresa Welch (Kirby), and Theandon Johnson (Eric) and his wife of 12 years, Karen and his children, Leon Maiers, Michelle Luong, Jake Marshall, Sherri Marshall, Megan Wilkerson, and Tanner Peek.
Only a private viewing at the request of Nathan will be made for his children, wife, and mother. Viewing will be held at the Caldwell Parrish in Urbandale Iowa at 08:30 February 6, 2025. To send flowers to the family of Nathan, please visit our floral store.
