Nathan Tefft Obituary

Nate attended University of Iowa and while in college he and his friends traveled to Europe finding adventure in London and Ireland. After graduating from U of I in December of 2000, he headed south to live in Phoenix briefly before returning to the Des Moines area. Nate worked for Wells Fargo for several years where he had many colleagues and was employed as a fraud and claims specialist for Card Services at the time of his death. Nate loved sports, breakfast foods and animals, especially his rescue cats, Achilles and Ally. He was a big fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Kansas City Royals and his moms' spaghetti. Nate stood 6'4" and was witty, humble, and polite.
He is survived by his mother, Cheri Tefft of Des Moines, father Charlie (Beth) Tefft Jr and two step-brothers of Tecumseh, Ontario, Canda, several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his brother Aaron Tefft, his grandparents, James Blue, Bette Blue, Charles Tefft Sr and Daphne Tefft.
Nate will be truly missed by his family and friends and will forever be in our hearts.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Highland Memory Garden Cemetery, friends may visit with family for one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ARL in loving memory of Nate.

Nathan was on a Project Team with us. He would be ready to help if the system was a little wonky. He would make light of things and liked helping people. He brought a lot to the team. He is really missed.
