Nathaniel Akins was born December 14, 1955 and left this earthly life, a day after his 69th Birthday on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
He Worked at Whirlpool for over 20 years and then later worked at Vanderbilt University Medical Center for 16 years. Nathaniel loved to fish, go to car shows, loved his Steelers football team, and had great love for his dogs.
He was preceded in death by parents, Robert “Honeybun” and Ailene “Ross” Akins; Brothers, Michael “Tree” Akins, Clifton Akins and Athony “Rat” Akins; Nephews, Jeremy McMahon and Daniel “Dukak” Akins, Jr.
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Danielle R. Akins; son, Carlos J. Massey; brothers, Daniel (Bernice) Akins, Carl “Terry-Reed” Akins, Alvin “Boo-Boo” Akins and William “Bubba” Akins; and a Host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
