Nathaniel David "Nate" Bryant passed away unexpectedly on March 03, 2024 at the age of 24.
Family and friends were not expecting for Nate's life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss and he will be forever missed. He had a heart of gold, a nature filled soul, and big smile for everyone he met.
Nathaniel was born and raised in Delaware the youngest of his three brothers. He grew up alongside neighborhood friends riding bikes and playing until the street lights came on. To a family who all bleed green, sharing the same hope and determination for a Super Bowl dream. From summers in the backyard to Pap-Paps at the beach, he loved the outdoors always keeping nature within reach. Whether it be school pursuits, or looking handsome and stylish in his dealer suits, it was always his fate that no matter what he was destined to be great.
He was preceded in death by his Pop-Pop, Mom-Mom, Grand-mom, Grand-pop, and eldest brother, Mike.
He will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken parents, LaVesta and Patty; older brothers LaVesta III, Nick and his wife Autumn, uncle Ronnie, cousin Darren & Zak, uncle Dave (Amy), uncle Kevin (Ethel), uncle Mike (Pat), and a long list of deeply-saddened aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family.
He was known as "Uncle" to Gio and Niko.
His girlfriend Marwa who he loved dearly and was the love of his life, as he was the love of her life as well; she will deeply miss their Tuesday dinner dates aka "Marwa Tuesday."
Nathaniel was a dedicated athlete who was greatly loved and will be greatly missed by the Smyrna wrestling family: Coach Howell, Coach Jody and so many more it's impossible to name.
Smyrna High, staff, students and all and his closest friends. The summers in Dewey Beach will never be the same.
He was a dependable hard worker who will be very much missed by his friends and coworkers at Ballys Casino.
We can all find solace in knowing he's been reunited with his brother and grandparents; our family can hardly imagine what a party that was.
Our family cannot put into words the appreciation we have for all the gracious thoughts and memories, it is impossible to list our gratitude; just know we thank you all.
A viewing will be held on Friday, March 15, 2024 from 4 to 6 PM in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Services will begin at 6 PM. Burial will be privately held.
Flowers, thoughts and prayers are graciously appreciated, however, for those who feel compelled to contribute to Nate's Celebration of Life, donations from the heart may be sent directly to the funeral home.

I remember back when we was kids, we'd ride bikes and he'd invite me over to play with his legos and PS3 in his basement. This was back in Lakeshore, he was one of my favorite people growing up. I'm really gonna miss you man.. R.i.p -Ryan Crowe

Nate was the one always trying to bring the friend group together to hang out. Even if people had multiple friend groups, he never minded meeting new people or connecting different friend groups. When I first started wrestling in 7th grade, Nate was one of my biggest teachers, even though he was only a year older than me, he had a lot of experience and was always willing to help his teammates get better. Even further than that, he was actually the person who taught me how to swim, since I never learned as a little kid. Nate played a big part in my childhood, as well as everyone else in lake shore. Nobody will forget all the basketball/football games, the hanging out at the pool, or playing video games in the basement. As a former classmate and teammate, and a lifetime friend, you will be missed brother!

Nathaniel aka "Baby Nate" because you were the baby of the LSV bunch. Nathaniel you were always super sweet and always smiling. I´ve never seen you upset or angry. I´ll always remember you running to the bus in the mornings because you were always super late. I´ll also remember watching you all play basketball outside of your house as Michaela and I sat on the curb and watched. Praying for the strength and comfort of your family during this difficult time. May they cherish the memories of you and find peace in knowing that you were very much loved by many, especially your LSV family! May you rest in Heavenly peace Baby Nate.

Nate was a wonderful young man. My youngest son and him had many battles on the mat but they both had great respect for each other. I am so sorry to hear of his passing

From playing football in front of your house with you and your big brothers when you were younger, to playing ball in front of your house almost everyday after school or in the summer time. We ran through lakeshore as youngens. I watched you grow. We had good times and made good memories together even if we were just kids those memories still stick with me. Rest easy brother. You´re gone but will never be forgotten for sure.

My first time meeting Nathaniel was at the bus top for school (6th grade). Our friend´s brandon and Rasaki introduced us because i was new to the neighborhood. i remember joking around & asking Nate if he was Hawaiian because of his long hair & he started laughing and said "Noooo, I´m not Hawaiian, why do people keep saying that". Bro always had a great personality & i had fun playing basketball at his house with everybody. Can´t believe he passed away so soon but definitely had great memories with him & Nate impacted my childhood in a major way. If we weren´t hanging out at his house, we were at Brandon´s house playing video games, laughing and joking around or playing ball at my grandma´s. #LLNDB #LSVLEGEND

Playing on the eagles flag football team for towne point. Then getting into a fight at the bus stop, only later for our parents to sit down at his house and force us to make up. We have been best friends ever since..
