Nathaniel "Nate" Emmitt Lee Jones

Nathaniel “Nate” Emmitt Lee Jones, 20, of West Terre Haute, Indiana, passed away on June 30, 2025, He was born on March 22, 2005, in Terre Haute, Indiana, to Harold Jones Jr. and Crystal Sue (Weatherman) Jones. Nate served in the United States Army. He was a Cook at Outback Steakhouse. Nate was a vibrant person. He left an impression wherever he went and touched many people’s hearts. Nate enjoyed writing, playing, and listening to music, and also riding his motorcycle. Most of all Nate loved his family and spending time with his nieces. He leaves behind both of his parents Harold Jones Jr. (Shyann) and Crystal Jones (Timothy Wardlow II); sisters Celeste Jones (Marshall Durbin) and Angel Wardlow; nieces and nephews Everlee, Bray, Hayden, and Noah; grandparents Harold Jones Sr. and Mickey Bailey; several aunts, cousins, and extended family; and lifelong best friends Braxton, Miguel, Angel, Caysn, and Braylon. Nate was preceded in death by his grandmother Lavana Bailey. Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Fitzpatrick Funeral Home, 220 North 3rd St., West Terre Haute, IN, with Pastor Chris Wilbur officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 12:00p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
