Nathaniel Bruce Kato

Nathaniel Bruce Kato, best known as "Nathan", entered into heaven on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the young age of 18. Nathan was the son of Daniel Kato and Amy & Travis Horne, born on October 21, 2005. He was a junior attending the Lighthouse Christian School in Callahan.
Nathan's life revolved around his family and music. He was a talented guitar player and he loved singing karaoke. He was very involved with his church family at The Anchor Church. Nathan had also been enjoying spending time in the gym working out. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and church.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother: Vicky Kato.
He leaves behind to cherish the memories: his parents: Amy (Travis) Horne of Callahan and Daniel Kato of Homosassa; his siblings: Daniel Kato, Jr. of New York, Dalton Kato of Fernandina Beach, Gavin Horne of Jacksonville, Grace Horne of Callahan, Jordan Kato, and Isaac Kato; grandparents: Robert and Kathy Ellis, Patricia and Ken Marks, Wayne and Debbie Dennis, Tammie and Richard Davis, Roy and Collette Horne, and Dan Kato; aunts and uncles: Natalie and Dan Villano, Robert and Maricel Ellis, and Ethan and Allie Boger; as well a host of extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Nathan's Life will be held Thursday, November 30, 2023 at The Anchor Church, 541798 US-1, Callahan, Florida, 32011 at 6:00 PM with Rev. Ethan Thompson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the church from 5:00 PM until the start of services.
