We celebrate the life of Nathaniel Lee Miller born on April 8,1949, in Dallas County, Alabama to Wallace and Alberta Miller. At an early age Nathaniel confessed his life to Christ. Nathaniel was educated in Dallas County school system. Nathaniel aka known as Nanny, Nate and Papa moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the early 1970s.
Nathaniel worked for General Dynamics for many years and retired from Chapman Waterproofing Company, Local 151 Laborer's union with over 20 years of service. Nathaniel was all about family, he loved family cookouts in his backyard cooking on the grill. He loved to dance and listen to his old school southern music and smoking on his trees in his backyard and watering his garden and love to play his daily lottery numbers.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Wallace & Alberta Miller, his son Carneal Miller, his sisters Catherine and Annie Dixon, brothers Jimmie and Robert Miller.
He leaves to Cherish his memories his lovely wife of 57 years Juanita Miller of Boston, MA. His children daughter Belinda and son- in law Tony Ryland of Boston, MA, son Nathaniel Jr. of Boston, MA. Grandchildren Carneal Jr. and Kyle of Troy, NY, Chanel Miller of New Bedford MA., Great grandchildren Kyle Jr and Malachi of Boston, MA. Siblings Gladys (Paul) Holloway of Marion Junction, AL. James Dixon brother-in-law Selma AL, sister Georgia Miller of Millbrook, AL., brothers Jessie Miller of Selma, AL, Terry Miller of Birmingham, AL. Sister in-law and Brother in-law Viola Woods and James Woods of Boston, MA and Willie Lee Woods and Patricia Woods of Providence, Rhode Island. He is also survived by a beloved host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
