Nathaniel C. Sergio, 40, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2022.
He was born on February 26, 1982, in Utica, the son of Humbert and Marie (Maracchioni) Sergio. Nathaniel graduated from Proctor High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from SUNY Oswego.
Nathaniel is survived by his mother, Marie, child, Quinne Major-Sergio, and sister, Kayla Sergio.
He was predeceased by his father Humbert Sergio.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Saturday, May 28, from 10-11 a.m. at McGrath, Myslinski, Karboski & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica. Funeral Services will commence immediately following visitation at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in Nathaniel's name in cash or to the Venmo account of Marie-Maracchioni or Kayla-Sergio. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.

To Nate´s family,
Our deepest sympathies. Nate was a teammate and friend of our son while attending Proctor High school. We remember him as a sweet and kind kid and a great runner/athlete. R. I. P. Nate..
