Mr. Nathaniel Trowell
Aiken, SC—A graveside service for Mr. Nathaniel Trowell, age 71, will be held 9:00 am Thursday June 29, 2023, at Aiken Memorial Gardens with Elder Crey Trowell officiating and a tribute presented by his niece. Mr. Trowell entered into rest on Saturday June 24, 2023, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was the beloved husband of Mrs. Marie Oakman Trowell and the son to the late Mr. Willie Trowell and the late Mrs. Beulah Johnson Trowell. Mr. Trowell was a native and lifelong resident of Aiken County. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Mt. Hill Missionary Baptist Church. He loved fishing, the Falcons and Panthers football, WWE wrestling, and his guns. Mr. Trowell was a Veteran of the United States Marines. Additional survivors include: three daughters Ora Beulah Trowell, Aiken, Nathann Marie Trowell, Aiken, and Zowie Tianesia Trowell, Aiken; three brothers Ben (Cora) Trowell, Aiken, Charles (Shirley) Trowell, Aiken, and Albert (Carolyn) Trowell, Aiken; one sister Barbara Thomas, Aiken; three sister-in-lasisters-in-lawws, Alma Trowell, Eardell Trowell, and Mattie Trowell; a special grandchild Xena Alexandra Trowell; six grandchildren Kayla Trowell, Demarcus Mitchell, Joshua Redmond, Katherine Redmond, Zyquan Trowell, and Zariah Trowell; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Trowell was preceded in death by 4 brothers Willie Trowell, Jr., Elder Leon Trowell, James Trowell, and Lonnie Trowell, and one sister Elloree Trowell. A visitation with the family will take place from 6-8 pm Wednesday June 28, 2023, at COLE FUNERAL HOME 1544 UNIVERSITY PKWY (118 BYPASS) AIKEN, SC 29801 803-648-7175.
