The Life of:
Nathaniel Williams, Jr., affectionally known as Junior or Nat as in "Nat King Cole", as he would introduce himself to everyone that he met. Nat was born on May 17th, 1955 in Charleston, SC.
On Monday April 8th, 2024 after a long brave battle with cancer, the Lord opened his arms and embraced him, calling him home to rest. He went peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones at home in Milton, FL.
Nat grew up in New York, and lived in Long Island, NY before moving to Milton FL. He was full of life, full of joy and full of laughter. He lived a good life, doing the things he loved the most. Music made him happy, playing the drums and singing was his passion. His dance may be over, but his music and the beat from his drums will play on in our hearts forever.
This is not a goodbye. His memory will be cherished by his wife, Pamela Rampersad-Williams; son, Daniel Williams; daughter, Schinae Gross-Williams; grandson, Samir Gross-Williams; mother, Lizzy McCray; sister, Francoise Williams; and numerous relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12 noon on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Trahan Family Funeral Home, Milton Chapel.
His wishes were to be cremated following the celebration of his life service.
Beloved Nat, rest now, until we meet again. Keep on grooving!
