Obituary for Natividad "Naty" Pizarro Delgado
December 30, 1937 – November 6, 2025
In Loving Memory
Natividad Pizarro Delgado, affectionately known as "Mami," "Abuela" and "Sister Naty," entered her
eternal rest on Thursday, November 6, 2025. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on December 30, 1937,
Natividad was the daughter of Candelario Pizarro and Pilar Delgado. She was the fifth of six children and
grew up in Santurce, on Calle Loiza and San Jorge - where family, community, and faith shaped the
foundation of her life.
Natividad attended Central High School in Santurce, where her father served as a physical education
teacher and track coach. After graduation, she received her certification in bookkeeping in Puerto Rico,
later continuing her education at San Antonio College in Texas, earning a certificate in Child Care
Administration. Her passion for education and children led her to open and operate her own childcare
center for many years - touching countless young lives with her nurturing spirit.
In 1991, she answered her divine calling and became a licensed minister. With unwavering faith, she
pursued higher education, earning her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in theology by 1994. For over
two decades, she served as an educator and spiritual mentor, inspiring others with her wisdom,
compassion, and devotion to God.
Sister Naty's ministry, Restauración Cristiana Ministerio, embodied her heart for service. She fed and
clothed the poor, reached out to the unhoused, and extended love to military personnel during the
holidays. Her dedication to missions took her beyond borders - even to Mexico - where she brought
food, clothing, and encouragement to those in need. She truly lived the Gospel she preached.
Beyond her ministry, Natividad was a true diva - elegant, confident, and full of life. She and her sisters
were known for their impeccable style: always dressed to impress, adorned with jewelry, makeup, and
fabulous shoes with matching purses. Mami believed in showing up beautifully and unapologetically -
and she expected the same from her daughters. If one of them showed up without lipstick, she would
lovingly say, "¡Ay, nena! Ponte lipstick! Put on some lipstick!"
Her hairstyles changed often, reflecting her creativity and zest for life. She also had a signature skincare
routine - Noxzema - which she swore by for decades. Till the day she passed, her skin was radiant and
smooth, without a single wrinkle - a true reflection of her timeless grace and self-care.
She was also a proud Puerto Rican woman who carried her heritage in everything she did. From her
delicious cooking and lively music to family celebrations filled with laughter, she kept her culture alive
and vibrant. Because of her, generations of children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren continue to
embrace and cherish their Puerto Rican roots - a legacy of pride and identity that will live on forever.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Candelario Pizarro and Pilar Delgado, and her siblings
Candelario "Cayaito", Roberto, Pilar "Pilarcita, and Josefina "Chini".
She is survived by her loving daughters, Janet (Javier) and Lois (David III); her cherished grandchildren,
Janel (Kyle), Gabriela, Dominique, David IV, and Jonathan; and her precious great-grandchildren,
Aaliyah, Oliver, Aiden, Breylin, and Eli. Natividad also leaves behind her beloved brother, Carlos
"Blancosino", age 96, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever treasure her
memory.
Natividad's legacy is one of faith, family, beauty, and strength. She taught her loved ones to serve
others with grace, to honor their culture, and to walk boldly in the light of God's purpose. Her life was a
living testimony of Psalm 100:2 - "Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with
singing."
Her spirit will continue to shine - beautifully, joyfully, and forever.
