Navelda N Henry

Navelda N. Henry, 87, of Renovo, Pa passed away Sept. 1, 2025 at Haven Place in Lock Haven, Pa. She was born October 2, 1937 in Dixonville, Pa to the late Guy and Dorothy Uplinger (Miller).

Navelda was a waitress at Charlie's Bar in Emporium, Pa and worked as a bookkeeper at the old Fox's Sunoco Gas Station in Renovo, Pa. She also worked as a volunteer at Bucktail Medical Center in Renovo for many years.

Navelda was an avid dancer, in which she met the love of her life and husband Robert C. Henry. He preceded her in death on October 26, 2019. Navelda enjoyed doing crossword puzzle books and watching her polka shows on TV. She also enjoyed playing bingo.

She married Robert C. Henry on September 30, 1961 in Emporium Pa. Survivors include 2 daughters, Betty (Mark) Charcalla, Darlene Henry all of Renovo; 2 sisters, Connie Cummings, and Babe (Chauncey) Logue, 3 grandchildren, Ruth Shinn, Mark and Michael Charcalla. She was also blessed with 2 great grandsons Ethan and Landon Charcalla, all of Renovo, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Debra Henry on January 23, 2019 and 3 sisters Ethel Polnick, Brenda and Debbie Kay Uplinger.

A Memorial Service for Navelda N. Henry will be held on Monday, September 8th 2025 12PM in the Renovo Fire Department, 230 11th St. Renovo, Pa 17764 with Lay Speaker Martha Sykes officiating. Friends and family will be received in the fire hall 1 hour prior to services. Burial will take place at the Fairview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Navelda's name may be made to the Clinton County SPCA, 33 Mill Hill Rd. Lock Haven, Pa 17745
