It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Naya Klor, who left this world peacefully on August 16, 2025, at the age of 57. Born on August 13, 1968, in Brazil, Naya was a radiant spirit with a compassionate heart and a warm smile that could light up any room. She was known for her lioness-like protective instinct toward her loved ones, making her a cherished friend and family member to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including travel, and the company of her beloved dogs Layla, Magnus, and Oliver. Her passion for Christmas, especially the joy of decorating and creating magical moments for her family, was a lasting gift. Naya leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever resonate in the hearts of her family.
Naya's journey was met with challenges, yet she approached life with grace and courage, embracing her spirituality, esotericism and sharing her insights with those around her. In this time of sorrow, we invite all who knew Naya to remember her radiant spirit and the love she shared so freely. Her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts and memories.
Survived by her husband and soulmate, John Kamin; as well as her twin sister, Christina Sciefer; older sister, Elaine Machado Schiefer-Feria; and her three brothers, Elcir Pedro "Tim" Sciefer, Eduard "Nino" Schiefer, and Earl Machado Sciefer, who resides in Brazil.
Naya was preceded in death by her father, Eberhard Sciefer; her mother, Zenith Machado; and her brothers, Elberth Schiefer and Eberhard "Tito" Sciefer Jr, as well as her two beloved dogs Sammy and Shadow.
