Nazario Padilla Ruesga

Nazario Ruesga, born on June 6, 1958, in Jalisco, Mexico, and passed away on October 22, 2025, in Turlock, California.
Nazario was a self-employed farm worker up until the time of his passing. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. His hobbies included taking care of his animals and cheering for his favorite sports teams, the 49ers and Dodgers. Nazario was a family man at heart, devoted to taking care of his wife and children.
He is survived by his beloved wife, JoAnn Onate Ruesga, whom he married on July 16, 1977, in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Nazario leaves behind his children, Vanessa Monique Acosta Ruesga (Joaquin), Marisol Gutierrez, and Jeremy Gutierrez; his grandchildren, Genevieve, Joseph, Nadya, Kingston, and Jeremy Jr.; and his great-grandchildren Mateo and Maleni-Rose. He also leaves behind his mother, Wenceslada Ruesga; and his siblings, Louie, Martin, Federico, Trinidad, Oscar, and Genoveva. Nazario was preceded in death by his father, Valeriano Ruesga, and siblings Ubaldo Billy Ruesga, Fernando Ruesga, and Crusita Perea.
A visitation for Nazario will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m., at Turlock Funeral Home on November 3, 2025. A funeral mass is scheduled for 12:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, November 4, 2025, followed by burial at Turlock Memorial Park.
