Neda Iskra Obituary
NEDA ISKRA (nee Bjelopera) age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. She was beloved by many, but especially by her late husband Frank Iskra, her siblings Anica (deceased), Ivan (deceased), Spasoje "Sam", Luca, and Marko (Vida). A Chesterland Resident, she was a devoted aunt, godmother, and cousin to many.
Family was deeply important to Neda. She was always ready with a kind word and food at her kitchen table. In later years, she was always just a phone call away, and was always happy to share stories or offer life advice for hours. In addition to her family, Neda devoted herself to her faith. As a devout Catholic, she attended service daily, and traveled the world to go on holy pilgrimages that deepened her faith and her love for God.
Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Neda at THE DeJOHN-FLYNN-MYLOTT FUNERAL HOME OF WILLOUGHBY HILLS, 28890 CHARDON ROAD (between Bishop Rd. and Rt. 91) Wednesday, February 12, 2025, from 4-7 PM.
Prayers of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 7 PM at the Funeral Home.
Please meet for a Final Prayer Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 11 AM before processing to All Souls Cemetery, where Neda will be laid to rest with her beloved husband.
