What a great lady she was! I will miss her guidance. She was my Guidance Counselor in high school, and for the past year or so I had been asking for her guidance again with another matter. She was a fantastic lady. My condolences to Jeanne, Scotty, and Francis.

Francis, Scotty and Jeanie and the family lost a wonderful mother and grandmother. Hundreds of former students like myself have lost one of the best teachers we ever had in high school or college. She truly cared for all her students and found ways to reach us. She made learning fun.

Negatha was my high school English and French teacher...leaving a deep impression with her pleasant, knowledgeable presentations to our class. She and Chris were fellow counselors in Dickenson County and he was so impressed with her dedication and abilities to work in this area.

Negatha will always live in the hearts of her students and friends.
Our love and sympathy to her family.

Dear Jeannie & Family, So sorry to read the news of your mothers passing. I thought of you both often even though I haven't been able to call or visit ( I had a stroke in 2000, losing the use of my left side) but thank God that my precious memories are mostly still in tact! Always enjoyed sitting in your mom's Camero reading & writing Star Trek stories. love & prayers, Debbie Artrip

I am so sorry for your loss. My great aunt (Esther Kiser) taught with Negetha for one year and had nothing but kind words to say about her. I only knew her as the mother of a dear friend, but I remember her warm smiles and the friendliness that she showed me. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
