Neil Joseph Chapin (08/03/1942-03/26/2026)
Neil went home to the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer. Neil worked for Jaco Manufacturing where he served as the manager of the company in addition to founding and operating Chapin Machine Works.
He was a long-time member of Bethany Lurtheran Church as well as a 4-H advisor for many years. Neil also enjoyed a variety of hobbies including fishing, boating, woodworking, training the family’s Doberman Pinchers, raising Arabian horses, photography and many others.
Neil enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and could often be found with wife, Mary Ann née Mirth Chapin, at one of their favorite restaurants.
Neil was known for his sense of humor.
Neil is survived by MaryAnn, daughters Darlene Parrish and Heather Chapin, many grandchildren, great grandchildren in addition to his sister, Susan Chapin, and many nieces and nephews. Neil is preceded in death by his son, Bryan Neil Mirth Chapin.
A private Celebration of Life will be held by the family.
