Neil C. Kroboth, 81, of Walnutport, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Walnutport on October 28, 1943, he was the son of the late Charles J. and Ruth M. (Minnich) Kroboth. Neil graduated from Slatington High School with the Class of 1961. Following his graduation, he served honorably and with pride in the United States Navy as a Machinist’s Mate First Class aboard the USS Mount Katmai. Neil began his career with a short time in construction before discovering his true passion—aviation. For more than 30 years, he worked as a licensed airplane mechanic with Slatington Aviation and also earned his pilot’s license. He was a proud life member of the Blue Ridge Rod & Gun Club in Walnutport.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter, Amie and husband Ryan Schuler of Kunkletown; grandchildren, Ryan Schuler, Jr., and Oliver Schuler; sister, Ann Louise Reinhart of WI; niece, Marilee and husband David Davieau; nephew, Martin Reinhart and wife Jennifer.
Graveside service will be held at 10:30 am on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Indianland Cemetery, Almond Rd, Walnutport. Celebration of Life will be held immediately following. Arrangements are under the direction of Harding Funeral Home, Slatington.
