Neil Solomon, 59, of Moline, Illinois, died Saturday, June 1, 2024, at home.
Services are 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 5, in the Horizon Room at Trimble Funeral Home at Trimble Pointe, 701 12th Street, Moline. Visitation is one hour prior to services. Private burial is in Oak Knoll Memorial Park, Sterling, Illinois. Memorials may be made to Illowa Intergroup (Quad Cities Area Alcoholics Anonymous Service Center).
Neil was born January 30, 1965, in Sterling, Illinois, the son of George and Barbara (Stringer) Daine Solomon. He graduated from Rockridge High School and went on to work as a truck driver for most of his career. He enjoyed shooting, fishing and playing with power tools.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Solomon of Moline; siblings, Darren (Patricia) Daine of Dixon, Iowa, Lori (Lonnie) Jessie of McGill, Nevada, and Ronda (Steve) Pardee of Bettendorf, Iowa; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and father, George Solomon.
