Nelie Escobar Obituary
Nelie leaves behind 4 children, Nelson Febles and his wife Noelia of Worcester, Denise Febles of Worcester, Dariana Vasquez of Worcester and Jose Portillo of Worcester; 5 siblings, Carmen Escobar, Mayra Escobar, Rigoberto Marti, Joel Escobar and Lionel Escobar, 9 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Tomas Marti and Sarafina Ramos and her sister, Nancy Escobar.
Nelie was born on June 18, 1965, in Canovanas, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Tomas Marti and Serafina Ramos. She moved to Worcester, MA along with her family in 1979. Nelie loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a big heart and a contagious smile that could light up a room. Nelie also loved animals, especially her beloved dog who also predeceased her. She will be greatly missed by all who know her.
Relatives and friends are invites to a period of visitation from 10:30am -1230pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Comfort Cremation Inc., 1027 Main St., Worcester, MA 01603; followed by a procession to Hope Cemetery in Worcester for Interment.
