Nell A. Willis, 94 of Parkton, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023. Born in Robeson County, she is the daughter of Avery and Reba Atkinson. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, William Archie Willis. She is also preceded by a son, Archie Wren Willis; and a granddaughter, April Willis Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Willis Canady and husband Ronald “Ronnie” Canady; grandson, William Ronald Canady and wife Tina; granddaughter, Jannell Willis Atkins and husband Mike; great grandchildren, Josh Spegal, Kyle Spegal, Ashley Atkins, Addison Atkins, Ryan Atkins, Jaylen Davis and Ryleigh Davis; great great-grandchild, Cohen Atkins, and daughter-in-law, Pam Willis.
Mrs. Willis was a long-time faithful member of Green Springs Baptist Church. She enjoyed singing in the choir in her younger days. The family will receive friends, at 2:00 pm, Monday, November 6, 2023, at Green Springs Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm. She will be laid to rest in the church cemetery. She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
