Nellie Arlene Juhl

Nellie Arlene (King) Juhl 87, of Wathena, Kansas, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born June 27, 1938 at home in Blair KS, daughter of the late Samuel and Juanita King. She was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family, and she was a member of Burr Oak Baptist Church, Blair Kansas. Nellie was an accountant for a furniture store in St Joseph, then chose to stay home and raise her family, and also cared for several other children, Nellie loved taking care of kids, and she also loved music. Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wallace Juhl, daughter in law, Carrie Juhl, grandsons, Kyle Juhl and Lukas Juhl, granddaughter in law, Katlyn Keller, great grandson, Axton Juhl, brother in law, Louis Young, Sister in law, Sarah Young, nephew, Brian Young, brother in law, Dallas Pohl, and sisters in law, Eunice King and Chris King. Survivors include: son, Lance (Kelly) Juhl of Wathena KS, daughter, Tonya (Dan) Keller of Troy KS, daughter, Mitzi (Eric) Zeller of Panama City Florida, daughter, Brynn (Chad) Young of Wathena KS. Grand Children: Amy Juhl, Eric (Tamela) Juhl, Kace Keller, Morgan Zeller, Amelia Zeller, Leevi Juhl, Cy Young, Roslyn (Tiara) Schmidt, & Zach Zeller. Great Grandchildren: Adrik, Kwynn, Axel, Ajay Juhl, Wallace & Neveah Juhl, and Kash Kerr. Siblings: Louise Huffman, Jean (Francis) Cook, Charles King, Evelyn Pohl, and Wayne King. No services are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers make donations to Doniphan County Ambulance or Wathena Fire Department. She is under the care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
