On March 3, 2026, she ascended to a place of eternal peace, earning her angelic wings within the comfort of her own home.

The heartbreaking task of planning the Celebration of Life Services for Mother Locklear has been finalized by the family and will proceed as follows. A visitation will be held from 12 PM to 1 PM on Saturday, March 14, 2026, as she lies in state at the altar of the Greater New Testament Holy Church, where she served wholeheartedly. A Home Going Celebration of Life will be called to order at 1 PM, following the public visitation.
