Nelson Flanigen Glenn

Nelson Flanigen Glenn, 39, died suddenly on May 30, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1986 in Nashville, TN. Preceded in death by his father, Robert Brandsford Glenn, Jr. Survived by his mother, Eleanor {Cissa} Flanigen Glenn; brother, Robert Brandsford Glenn III; sister-in-law, Mallory Mathison Glenn; nephews, Robert Brandsford Glenn IV and George Mathison Glenn; uncles, John Martin Flanigen III and George Joseph Flanigen IV.
Nelson was a 2004 graduate of Houston High School in Germantown, TN where he was the goalie of the state championship hockey team. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
Nelson loved his family and friends. He was fiercely loyal and stood up for others and what he believed in. He made countless friendships over the years and positively impacted many people.
Nelson was an organ donor and gave the gift of life on June 2, 2025. He saved five lives, restored sight to two individuals, and also contributed to numerous other surgeries and research. This was truly one of his finest moments and one for which he would be very proud.
Visitation will be held at Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN from 9:30-11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 20, 2025 with Mass immediately following. A reception will be held at the church. Interment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery, Nashville, TN.
