Nestor Washington Dourron, MD, 86, of Atlanta died Sunday, November 22, 2009. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, he was born on March 5, 1923. He was a practicing physician in the Decatur area, beloved by his patients until his retirement in 1997. Surviving are his beloved wife of 47 years, Maria Dourron, MD and his sons, Rodney Dourron, MD, Edward Dourron, MD, Hector Dourron, MD, Robert Dourron, MD, Jack Dourron and Scotty Schwartz; daughters-in-law, Allison, Kati, Cheri; and 12 grandchildren, Blake, Valentino, Haley, Morgan, Franco, Charlie, Madison, Brooke, Ryan, Katie, Benjamin and Kyla. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 24th at 10 AM in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Entombment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 1-800-822-6344, www.stjude.org. Friends are invited to visit with the family Monday evening from 5 until 8 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons. Online condolences may be made at www.asturner.com.
