Neta Irene nee Brozek Koehler Neta Irene (nee Brozek) Koehler, age 87, a 23 year resident of Prince William County, Va., died peacefully on September 8, 2010. Neta, daughter of Neta (nee Kivell) Brozek, was born in Detroit, Mich. on January 24, 1923. Neta lovingly raised four children and worked as a nurse's aide, licensed practical nurse and childcare provider. She loved children, animals, Vermont, her cat Butterscotch and sharing breakfast with friends and family.

Neta is survived by her son Ken Koehler and his wife, Linda of Henrietta, N.Y.; daughter, Janine Crossland and her husband, Bob of Manassas, Va.; daughter Kim Athearn and her husband Jim of Palmer, Mass. and daugher-in-law Denise Griebler of Warrenville, Il. She was preceded in death by son, John "Curt" Koehler and infant son, Jon Koehler. Neta was remembered as a loving grandmom to Abby and Matt Koehler, Sarah and Tom Crossland and Ben and Cora Koehler.

Neta touched the lives of many with her compassion and generosity. Memorial service on Oct. 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192. Neta may be rem-embered by making a donation to the Prince William SPCA, or by "Giving a flower to a friend." Arrangements by
