Nettie Rebecca Lambert

Nettie Rebecca Lambert, widow of Lynwood Leighton Lambert passed away on the morning of September 2, 2017. One of Nettie’s favorite things to do was going to play bingo at the Knights of Columbus where she had many friends, some even as close as family. She loved going there and spending her evening playing bingo, playing pull tabs, and socializing. She also enjoyed making blankets for the kids at the Ronald McDonald House. Nettie was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She not only loved people but animals as well. Her home was always full of animals, from a snake named Gryphon to a rabbit named FuFu and her favorite beloved dog Jasper. Jasper was her most loyal companion till she passed bringing her joy and protection. Her survivors include Vivian Lambert, Vicki (Randy) Mann, Anita (John) Muscmeci, Kenneth Lambert, Beverly (Jim) Brown, Andrea (Randy Gardner) Lambert. Her grandchildren Jillian Pellerin, Sarah (RJ Sweeney) Pellerin, Chris (Michael Lloyd) Gardner, Meghan Shirlock, Samantha Brown, and Dylan Brown. Nettie had many friends, one of her closest friend was Lynn or as she called her Hubba Bubba. She had many other special people in her life, such as Craig Pellerin, her wonderful neighbors, the Bells who always looked out for each other, Nick Gardner who helped around the house and helped take care of her, and many other friends. Nettie always said that “flowers are for the living”, so if you would like to send flowers please send them to Burlington Health and Rehab where she spent her last days. Everyone on the third floor took such wonderful care of her. They kept a smile on her face and made sure that she was never in pain and that she went peacefully and with dignity. Jennifer Pelston and Ohnna Provost took extra good care of her staying late at work and always making sure she had everything she needed and more. Her memorial will be held at Day Break Community Church, 67 Creek Farm Rd. Colchester, Vermont on Saturday, September 9th from 2pm to 4pm. Nettie, Mom, Mamu was such a wonderful person and there are no words that can express how kind and loving she was. She has been reunited with the love of her life and will continue to live on in our hearts and thoughts. She will be missed.
