Nettie 'Lucille' Pritchard, 79, of Salitpa community, passed away at SAAD Hospice Retreat on December 1, 2024. She was born on February 26, 1945, to parents Robert and Ella Jean Elmore in the Frankville community. Lucille worked at Vanity Fair and after retiring she enjoyed spending time on the computer playing her games, gardening and flowers, she was known to spoil her grandchildren. She loved her family very much and her little baby 'lil bit', who was always by her side.
Preceded in death by her son Tommy Overstreet, sisters Pollye Elmore and Mary Walters.
Survived by her husband of 38 years Gene Pritchard, children Rebecca (Bobby) Pritchard, Joel (Charlene) Overstreet, Sandy (Danny) Holifield, Wynette (Tony) Clarke, and stepdaughter Paula (Danny) Bradley, 17 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren. Siblings Maudie (Jerry) Hope, Andrew (Yvette) Elmore, Albert (Debbie) Elmore, Judy (Cleve) Pope, Fannie Dearman, Wanda (Lamar) Brannan, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Pallbearers will be Adam Wade, Aaron Wade, Paul Pritchard, Matthew Pritchard, Tony Clarke, Brandon Overstreet, Noah Jones, Jeff Brannan.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 6-8 p.m. at Lathan Funeral Home in Jackson. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior to services. Bro. Jamie L. Lay officiating. Burial will be a Stave Creek Baptist Church Cemetery following services.
