Gray, Georgia - Graveside services for Mrs. Nettie M. Ward are 11:00 AM Thursday, February 1, 2024 at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Gray, GA. Mrs. Ward was born in Gray, GA to the parentage of the late Beulah Merriwether Walker and the late Randall Walker. She was educated at Fort Valley State University and received her nursing degree in Crownsville, MD. She was employed as a registered nurse for over 40 years at Baldwin County Hospital and Central State Hospital. She was a member of Mt. Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Gray, GA. Survivors include: children, Carita (Ronnie) Walker, Bernadette (Harvey) Carter and Flecia Gardner; brother, Monfort Walker; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
